A Word from Katrina

My therapeutic approach includes Solution and Compassion focused, Cognitive Behavioral, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapies with a Strengths-Based approach. It is my ambition and privilege to serve clients as they learn recognize false beliefs as to why bad things happen to them and develop more proactive ways to cope focusing on internal strengths and abilities. I also use Acceptance Commitment Therapy as a way to deal with negative thoughts, feelings, symptoms or circumstances and encourage mindfulness strategies to move on from negative experiences.

I believe we each hold the key within ourselves to unlock our own healing journey and it is my passion to walk alongside those who are struggling to find the strengths within to heal, move on, and experience their lives in a more positive way.
