Should I self-pay or use my insurance to pay for sessions?
It is a personal preference. Using your insurance plan requires providers to provide a diagnosis code to your insurance company for billing purposes. If you do not have an insurance plan that we accept or if you choose to ‘self pay’ and not have your insurance company billed, the cost is $150 per 55 minute session. For self-pay clients who are out of network, we can provide a superbill for you to send to your insurance company - you may be partially reimbursed by your insurance. Please check with your insurance company prior to your initial session.
How much does a session cost?
That depends on your insurance plan. Most plans require that an annual deductible be met first. If you haven’t met your deductible, you will be charged the full contracted amount agreed upon by your insurance company. If you have already met your deductible or you have a non-deductible plan, the majority of the cost is covered by your plan and you are responsible for a co-payment. Check with your insurance plan. You can also use this insurance benefits verifier, which will let you know what your co-pay amount per session will be: Check My Benefits
What insurance providers do you accept?
We are currently in-network with Aetna, Optum (United Healthcare), Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Oscar, and Oxford Health. We also contract with Colorado’s I Matter program, which offers up to 6 free sessions for youth (ages 5 - 18).
I am seeking faith-based counseling or a Christian counselor. What are my counselor's spiritual beliefs?
Under each counselor's profile, you will see their specialties. For the counselors in our group who provide faith-based counseling (upon your request), here is the Statement of Faith.
